A Hong Kong practice focused on fund expense audits — how money left the fund, who approved it, and what the papers show.
Why we exist
Fund deeds and donor letters set rules that day-to-day claim processing often stretches. Cloud Computing was formed in Hong Kong to give trustees a second set of eyes on expense trails — not to sell software, and not to replace the statutory audit.
How we started
The practice grew from repeated requests from foundation finance leads who needed voucher sampling between annual audits: travel claims that lacked itineraries, vendor invoices posted to the wrong grant, and dual approvals that existed on paper but not in the file. We kept the work narrow — fund expense review — so findings stay concrete.
Who you meet
Engagements are led by reviewers with experience in charity and foundation finance in Hong Kong. Fieldwork is hands-on: we sit with the vouchers, ask for missing support, and write exceptions in language a trustee can read without a glossary.
Working approach
- Scope is written and signed before sampling starts
- Queries go to a named finance contact, not a shared inbox when possible
- Draft findings are discussed before the trustee pack is finalised
- We record what we did not test, so boards know the limits

Our office is at Skyline Tower, 39 Wang Kwong Road, Kowloon Bay. Client meetings and closed briefings can be held there or at your premises across Hong Kong.
Values we hold to
Independence from the programme teams we review, clarity over volume in written reports, and respect for the time of staff who pull documents. We decline work where we cannot obtain an adequate population listing or where management will not allow exception discussion before board circulation.
